Ingredients
    Sattu Stuffing
  • 2 cup Sattu (roasted gram flour)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Carrom seeds (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Pickle masala
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • Chokha
  • 500 g Brinjal
  • 4 Tomato
  • 3 Potato
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1 Garlic (1 pot)
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Dough
  • 3 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Carom Seeds
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
Instructions
    Sattu Stuffing Preparation
    • Take a bowl.
    • Add the below mentioned ingredients:
      • 2 cups roasted gram or sattu
      • 1 tsp salt
      • 1 tsp crushed Garlic
      • 1 tsp crushed Ginger
      • 1 tsp Green Chilli
      • 1 tsp crushed Carom seeds
      • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
      • 1 tbsp Pickle masala
      • 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
      • 2 tbsp Mustard oil
    • Mix evenly without adding water.
    • Add a little water and mix properly.
  1. Sattu stuffing is ready.
  2. Chokha Preparation
    • Take a Brinjal (400 gram).
    • Slite and check it.
    • Take Tomatos (4 nos)
    • Apply the Mustard oil over the brinjal and tomatoes.
    • Place a grill onĀ  gas over direct flame.
    • Roast brinjal and tomatoes on low flame.
    • Turn and roast until charred. (it takes around 8-10 minutes)
    • Take them out.
    • Now, in a similar way, roast the below mentioned ingredients:
      • 3 nos boiled Potatoes
      • 2 nos Green Chili
      • 1 whole Garlic
    • Peel all these roasted ingredients.
    • Crush Garlic and Green Chili together.
    • Take a bowl.
    • Put brinjal, tomato and potato together in the bowl and mash them.
    • Put a Pan on gas.
    • Add 2 tbsp Mustard oil and heat it.
    • Add 1 tbsp crushed Ginger, crushed garlic and green chili.
    • Saute for 30 seconds on low flame.
    • Add chopped Onion (1 no.)
    • Saute for 2-3min until onion turns light brown.
    • Now add the below mentioned ingredients:
      • 1 tsp salt
        1/2 tsp red chili powder
        1/2 tsp coriander powder
        1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • Mix properly and add 2 tbsp water.
    • Stir until masala gets dried.
    • Add roasted and mashed vegetables.
    • Mix properly and saute for 2-3min on low flame.
    • Add 1/2 cup water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
    • Add 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves.
    • Chokha is now ready for serving.
  3. Dough Preparatiaon
    • Take a large bowl.
    • Add 3 cup wheat flour.
    • Add Salt (1 tsp), Carom seeds (1 tsp) and Ghee (1 tsp).
    • Mix properly.
    • Add water and knead the dough (dough should not be very soft).
    • Keep the dough aside for 30 minutes.
    • Dough is now ready.
  4. Litti Stuffing
    • Take a medium sized ball from the dough.
    • Hallow it from centre, put the stuffing inside.
    • Close it properly so that the stuffing doesn't come out.
    • Stuffed litti is ready.
  5. Litti Frying
    • Heat cooking oil for deep fry on low flame.
    • First check oil temperature by put a small dough ball.
    • When dough ball comes up, then oil is ready for frying.
    • Put stuffed litties in oil for frying on low flame.
    • After 4-5min turn litties and fry.
    • Fry till golden brown colour.
    • Turn and fry both sides.
    • Fried litti is ready.
  6. Litti Roasing
    • Roast litti on grillrack on low flame.
    • Turn and roast all sides evenly.
    • When litti is cooked, coat them with ghee.
    • Grilled and roasted litti is ready.
  7. Fried and Roasted Litties are ready.

  • It takes approx 12-15 min for frying litties.
  • It takes approx 12-15min for roasting litties.
